Our Philosophy: Your pet is very important to us. So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming assures you that every effort will be made to make your pet's grooming experience as safe, stress-free, and as pleasant as possible. Please read the following carefully, and by signing below, you certify that you agree to our policies and acknowledge that payment is due when grooming services are rendered, including any special handling requirements, de-matting charges, etc., pricing of which is subject to change.

Vaccinations: Please provide a copy of your pet’s vaccination records provided by your veterinarian. Dogs should be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, and Parvovirus. If your pet is unable to receive vaccinations for medical reasons, please discuss this with us. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration. Even though we sanitize between each pet, So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming is not liable for any infectious conditions such as kennel cough, parvo virus, or canine influenza, and we fully suggest your pets be up to date on these vaccinations as well.

Medical Problems and Senior Pets: We use extra care and patience for older pets. Please let us know of any medical problems and/or issues your pet has beforehand. Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a pet with health problems and can also expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. In the best interest of your pet, this form will give So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary. We will do our utmost to contact you first, then take your pet to your authorized veterinarian, or, if the veterinarian is not readily available and/or is deemed too far away, So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming is authorized to use a veterinarian of its choice. All the veterinarian's costs and expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the pet's owner.

Mat Removal: Pets with matted coats need extra care and attention. Mats in a pet’s coat grow tight, and can ultimately damage and tear the pet's skin, which in turn may cause a variety of skin issues, which may include parasite infestation, hot spots, excessive itching, etc. De-matting a pet’s coat is a time-consuming process requiring special conditioners, tools, skill, and patience. There is an extra charge of $1 per minute, or $60 per hour, for de-matting. If a pet is too severely matted, the mats may be removed by shaving, but only as a last resort. We will contact you before shaving your pet. Removing a heavily matted coat can include the risk of nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, or skin folds trapped in the mats. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include clipper irritation, self-inflicted irritation (licking or chewing), abrasion, and failure of the hair to regrow naturally. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. Prevention is the best defense against matting by scheduling regular grooming sessions every 4–8 weeks.

Accidents: Although we use extreme caution and care in all situations’, grooming equipment is sharp, and pets can wiggle or move at inopportune moments, resulting in possible accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified as soon as possible. If So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming feels it is serious and the owner is not on-site or cannot be contacted immediately, we will attempt to seek medical treatment for your pet at your authorized veterinarian's office or, if the veterinarian is not readily available and/or is deemed too far away, So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming is authorized to use a veterinarian of its choice. Reimbursement will be at the sole discretion of So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming.

Fleas or Ticks: Dogs with more than three live fleas will be given a mandatory flea bath with a $25 charge depending on the dog’s size. Any ticks found will result in a $10 charge for the first three ticks plus $1 for each additional tick found. If fleas are found present, we must cancel the rest of our appointments to thoroughly fog, clean, and sanitize our vehicles as fleas are extremely hard to eradicate and can be transferred to other pets.

Temperament: By agreeing to my policies, the pet owner agrees that their pet has never bitten nor shown aggression towards any groomer or person. Biting, snapping, growling, or any form of aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Dog owners are responsible for any damage inflicted by their dog on either the groomer or mobile salon. Injuries from dog bites are reported to Corpus Christi Animal Control Services. The owner of the dog is financially responsible for any medical bills and treatment if the groomer is injured by their dog. Any aggressive dog will be returned to their owner regardless of whether the groom is complete or not, and payment will be due in full. If your pet is unable to be groomed safely, we reserve the right to refuse service.

Parking: Please move vehicles prior to the arrival of your appointment and please have a designated flat parking area for us. We cannot move our vehicle once a pet is inside. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure mobile services are allowed in their apartment complex and or HOA communities.

Appointments: We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, sometimes situations occur that will disrupt the daily schedule. This includes traffic, weather, mechanical difficulties, or spending more time with an older, younger, or difficult dog. The dog’s safety will NEVER be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule. You will be called or texted and advised of an arrival time when schedules change beyond our control. We follow the Flour Bluff ISD school closures as they pertain to inclement weather. We try to work if conditions are not dangerous for us to be towing. If you are unsure, please contact us to confirm.

Schedule: A healthy pet is a clean pet! To ensure every dog I care for is comfortable and feeling his/her best, I require clients to be on a 1-, 2-, 4-, or 6-week schedule to remain enroute. These schedules are non-negotiable. When you book your appointment, you will be asked what schedule you would like to be placed on, and that may indicate which days are available to service your area. After your first appointment, if you are happy with my services, I will book out your future appointments. This is not for everyone, if you can't stay on a schedule, So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming might not be the service for you. If you are a hibutual canceler, you will be fired as a client. We need to keep a tight schedule with the cost of gas and can't re-arrange clients all day.

Pricing Variances: Pricing varies for each dog and is determined by the breed, size, and coat condition of your pet. Additional charges apply for de-matting, de-shedding, excessive hair, bad behavior, and flea treatments due to the additional time it takes.

Cancellation/No Show Policy: Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment by the client requires 48 hours’ notice to waive the FULL appointment fee. Any less than 48 hours' notice will result in a fee of 50% of your appointment total. Same-day cancellations must be paid in FULL. The no-call no-show fee is 100% of the appointment fee, or you will not be rebooked. Customers with repeated same-day cancellations will be required to prepay for future appointments.

Payment: We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Payment is due upon completion of the groom. Due to an imposed state sales tax, there will be 8.25% added to the total amount due. All customers are required to keep a valid card on file. If payment is not made in a timely manner, the card on file will be charged for the amount due. Any payments not received within 24 hours after the initial invoice is sent will incur a $10 late fee charge per day.

Refunds: I don't give refunds. It's very important to communicate with your groomer what you're wanting in your dog's service. You have 48 hours to contact me to have a problem fixed. After 48 hours I will try again next time. I want you to be happy with the services you paid for.

Latchkey Service: We offer a latchkey service if you are not able to be home for your pet’s grooming. This is available after the first initial appointment of meeting and grooming your pet. A credit card must be on file for ALL latchkey clients in case you forget to leave payment, or your appointment is canceled. Pets must be in an easily accessible area, and all bedroom doors must be closed. A key or code must be left with So Fetch! Mobile Grooming

Photographs: Photos and/or video may be taken of your pet before, during, or after their grooming session for use on So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming’s Facebook, Instagram, website, or any other marketing or advertising purpose.

RELEASE FORM: I understand and agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s), and I agree to hold So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming harmless from any damage, loss, or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of my pet(s). The terms "special services" or "handling" shall include, but are not limited to, veterinarian services in the event I am not available. I authorize So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming to act as my agent in the event of emergency veterinarian services, caretaking, and/or transportation being necessary, and I agree to pay all costs. Any/all damages, loss, or claims shall include, but not be limited to, death, injury, or shock. Illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, medical conditions, advanced age, or nervousness are examples of pre-existing conditions. If you have any concerns about your dog’s groom, please notify us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will discuss rescheduling an appointment at the earliest time available.

I have read and accepted this policy for the groom today and for all future grooming appointments.
